This cake was made for my cousin's son's 1st birthday. They love chocolate, so I made chocolate cake for them. I could have made chocolate filling, as well, but it would be chocolate-overload for the little kids.
My cousin anticipated 104 guests, it was more than enough, The top yellow cake was not served. It was saved for his actual 1st birthday (02/08/2015). The whole middle tier cake was served and half of the bottom tier. There were more than enough for everyone.
I really like the design. It is simple, clean, and tad bit playful. Nothing fancy. My cousin wanted a simple cake and that is not busy looking.
